The event team is happy to announce that Pam Weideman will be coaching the 2007 OVCTA Event team. Pam has competed in many four star events at the Advanced level. She has completed Rolex, Radnor, Fairhill International, Essex and Fox Hall to name a few. One of her proudest accomplishments was training a local OVCTA horse named "Bert" and taking him all the way to the Advanced level at Rolex. Pam is also an "A" rated Pony Clubber and earned her USEA Instructors certification at Level 3. Event practices are scheduled for Thursday evenings beginning at 6:00 PM at Hunter Hill Stable beginning on July 12th and running through September 27th. We will announce other schooling locations as they become available. All members are welcome to attend practices even if they don't intend on competing on the team. Lessons will cost 35.00 per person if three or more riders attend the practice. If only one to two people attend the practice, lessons will cost 65.00 per session. Members need to schedule practices through Kathy Malm at radiantcomfort@copper.net and must cancel 24 hours in advance or you will be responsible for lesson payment regardless of whether you show up or not. All riders intending to compete on the OVCTA event team must attend a minimum of 5 practices. In addition, riders must submit scores from 2 events inwhich they completed all three phases.
